AC Milan striker Niclas Fullkrug was the victim of a terrifying robbery, it has been revealed.

Police Called After Niclas Fullkrug Hotel Room Robbed

Fullkrug joined Milan from West Ham this month on a loan deal until the end of the season and is staying in a hotel.

However, not even that was enough to prevent a shock break-in. According to La Repubblica, the striker departed for a training session on Wednesday morning but returned to find his safe had been forced open.

The items taken are said to have been four luxury watches worth a staggering total of €500,000.

Fullkrug is working with the police to identify potential suspects, and the room was dusted for evidence.

It has been suggested that the frontman, now the latest footballer to be targeted by robbers, was not insured.

The 32-year-old’s start to life in Milan has got off to a rollercoaster start. Fullkrug was praised by the media after impressing in his first start for the club, before sustaining a toe injury in the 1-1 draw with Fiorentina.

But he was able to make a quicker-than-expected comeback and played 27 minutes against Como last time out.

Big-Name Footballers Targeted By Thieves

Earlier this season, Jamie Vardy’s luxury villa in Italy was robbed, with £80,000 worth of his valuables taken. The striker, who joined Cremonese from Leicester in the summer, lives in a villa in Lake Garda.

He shares his home with his wife, Rebekah, but had been playing in a match when three thieves broke in. The gang broke in through a window and escaped with a stash of jewellery, money and an expensive watch.

Douglas Luiz, currently out on loan at Nottingham Forest from Juventus, was robbed of 11 watches and pieces of jewellery valued at half a million dollars while he and his former partner Alisha Lehmann were out.

Luiz returned home to his luxury house in Turin after a match, before calling the police to report the incident.

In October 2024, Napoli defender Juan Jesus insisted he would never feel safe in the city again after thieves attempted to steal his car. He had returned from a trip to find the vehicle had been ransacked.

Jesus also alleged he had found five trackers on the car, supposedly placed by the thugs.
