Mika Biereth has emerged as an alternative to Randal Kolo Muani as Juventus look to sign a new striker.
Speculation linking Juventus and Kolo Muani has intensified in recent days, with Juve keen to sign their former loan hero.
However, Tottenham have reportedly decided not to cut Kolo Muani’s loan short, in wake of his Champions League heroics.
Reports from Italy claim Juve have other strikers on their radar, including the Monaco striker who was once on Arsenal’s books.
Mika Biereth alongside Joshua Zirkzee, Beto and Marcos Leonardo as Juventus options
Randal Kolo Muani remains Juventus’ first-choice option up front, but they cannot afford to be without a back-up plan.
Gazzetta dello Sport have claimed that Manchester United’s Joshua Zirkzee is their first alternative, but he could also be a tricky signing.
The Italian outlet said Juve are being offered a number of strikers, including Mika Biereth of Monaco.
Other potential back-up options include Everton’s Beto and Marcos Leonardo, though the latter is on huge wages at Al-Hilal.
Mika Biereth: What he could bring to Juventus
Mika Biereth has enjoyed a swift rise to prominence since coming through the ranks at Fulham and Arsenal.
The Denmark international took in loan spells at RKC Waalwijk, Motherwell and Sturm Graz while on Arsenal’s books.
Arsenal then sold Biereth to Graz for around €9m in July 2024, and he did so well in Austria that Monaco bought him for €13m months later.
Biereth ended the 2024/25 season with 27 goals and eight assists from 44 appearances between the two clubs.

However, the 22-year-old has struggled for regular starts this season, which has hampered his momentum.
Biereth is currently on four goals for the season, and was an unused substitute in Monaco’s 0-0 draw with Juventus.
He is not a classic target man, but he attacks space quickly, presses defenders, and gets chances through smart positioning rather than long dribbles.
