Ranking The Latest Serie A Transfer Rumors: David’s Future Uncertain, Inter Pursue Verona Hotshot And Kean Could Reunite With Palladino

The futures of Jonathan David, Joshua Zirkzee and Giovane are all up for discussion. Will the trio find new employment in the not-so distant future?

As ever, the latest Serie A transfer news has provided plenty of talking points across Italy’s elite soccer division.

With November’s international break taking center-stage, FootItalia has analyzed the latest rumors and provided a rating of their likelihood of happening.

Serie A Transfer News

Joshua Zirkzee To Roma (8/10)

The Joshua Zirkzee transfer news has been rife regarding a return to Serie A in January. A number of Italy’s finest have all been linked in recent weeks.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Roma have ramped up their interest in the Manchester United forward. Zirkzee is almost certain to leave Old Trafford having fallen down the pecking order under Ruben Amorim.

The Portuguese boss prefers Bryan Mbuemo, Benjamin Sesko and Matheus Cunha up top. A move to Rome will certainly appeal to Zirkzee. Especially as the Giallorossi are light on attackers and he would earn valuable minutes with the 2026 FIFA World Cup just seven months away.

Jonathan David To AC Milan (5/10)

Once again, Jonathan David’s uncertain future at Juventus comes under the spotlight. Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano posted on X last week that the Canadian international would be staying in Turin.

However, AC Milan are keen to bring David to the San Siro on a temporary basis. Santiago Gimenez and Christopher Nkunku have struggled this season and Max Allegri wants a genuine goal-getter for the second-half of the campaign.

It’s unlikely that the Bianconeri would want to part with David mid-way through the campaign. Especially to a title rival and with Dusan Vlahovic potentially leaving, it’s hard to see this deal happening.

Giovane To Inter Milan (7/10)

With the recent Inter Milan stats indicating the Scudetto is heading back to the San Siro, the Nerazzurri want to fully accomplish their aim by purchasing Giovane for €15-18million.

The Hellas Verona hotshot caught the eye of head coach Cristian Chivu and first contact was made with the player’s agent in their matchday 10 clash.

Alongside the likes of Ange-Yoan Bonny, Marcus Thuram and Lautaro Martinez – who is in the running to win the Champions League Golden Boot – Inter would boast a fearsome frontline.

Serie A Transfer News – Is Federico Chiesa Serie A Bound? (6/10)

With Federico Chiesa’s Italy future in doubt after declining Gennaro Gattuso’s offer of a November call-up, rumors of a Serie A return continue to gain valuable column inches, too. The Liverpool forward has had a strong start to the season.

That despite the 28-year-old failing to earn a place in Arne Slot’s starting XI. He has two goals and three assists to his name but a January move appears likely.

Former employers Juventus and Fiorentina would be interested. So would the likes of AC Milan, Bologna and Roma. Only time will tell if he moves back to Italy and a lot will hinge on whether Slot is happy to let him go mid-season.

Moise Kean To Atalanta (7/10)

An emotional reunion with new Atalanta head coach Raffaele Palladino has already been mooted for Moise Kean. Ivan Juric’s replacement managed Kean at Fiorentina last year.

The Azzurri international scored 19 goals as La Viola finished in 7th position. However, the Florence-based side has endured one of the worst Serie A starts ever and Kean has been a shadow of his former self.

A January move isn’t likely but a summer-switch to Bergamo is a definite possibility. Especially with Palladino at the helm so it’s worth keeping an eye on this rumor.
