Who Is Lorenzo Venturino? New Roma Signing ‘Blessed’ By Daniele De Rossi
Roma legend and Genoa coach Daniele De Rossi is a fan of the Olimpico-bound 19-year-old.
Roma will soon welcome a new winger in their ranks as Lorenzo Venturino joins from Genoa.
The Giallorossi have completed a loan deal for Venturino, 19, with a €9m option to buy, according to Nicolo Schira.
The Italian soccer expert also claimed Venturino will sign until 2030 should Roma take up their option to buy him.

Tommaso Baldanzi will be heading the other way, swapping Roma for Genoa.

Lorenzo Venturino joins Roma after early impact at Genoa
Venturino is from Arenzano, near Genoa, and has worn his hometown team’s colours since he was 11.
He rose through the ranks and made his Serie A debut against Roma on January 17, 2025, a neat twist in a story that now takes him back to the capital.
Venturino’s breakthrough came in May 2025, when he scored twice at Bologna in his first Serie A start, netting a brace inside 43 minutes.
Gianluca Di Marzio also reported that former Roma captain Daniele De Rossi “blessed” his talent, highlighting his personality as well as his finishing.
“He deserves more space,” said the Genoa head coach. “But there are plenty of us here.”
Venturino signed a new Genoa contract until 2029 in March 2025, showing how highly the club rated him at the time.

Venturino style of play and Roma fit
Lorenzo Venturino is a versatile right-footed player, capable of adapting to multiple attacking roles.
He is a quick and technical player with a strong attacking instinct and confidence carrying the ball.
Venturino prefers to play as a right winger, but can also be deployed on the left wing or further back as a midfielder.
His profile fits a coach who wants direct runners in the final third, making him a good fit for Roma.
Elsewhere in Roma news, Niccolo Pisilli shone against Stuttgart in the Europa League.
This resulted in Roma’s coach saying Pisilli is going nowhere this January amid links with Genoa, Parma and Sassuolo.
