According to the latest Yann Bisseck transfer news, the Inter Milan defender could leave the San Siro in January.
Bisseck has struggled for game time since head coach Cristian Chivu joined in the summer. The Nerazzurri 2010 treble winner has opted for a back three for most of the campaign.
His preferred trio are loan signing Manuel Akanji, veteran Stefan de Vrij and Azzurri star Alessandro Bastoni. Furthermore, Francesco Acerbi has also been favored more than Bisseck when called upon.
Yann Bisseck Transfer News
At the back end of 2024-25, five English Premier League sides were all interested in Inter defender Yann Bisseck. A move failed to materialize with none of his suitors willing to meet the €55million price tag.
Although that figure decreased in the summer, Bisseck remained at the San Siro. Cristian Chivu didn’t want to lose the German international but his lack of game time isn’t helping his World Cup chances.
Especially after his recent omission from Julian Nagelsmann’s squad for the recent October internationals against Luxembourg and Northern Ireland.
Nonetheless, interest in acquiring the 6ft 5in center-back has reignited ahead of January. In fact, Inter and Bisseck are expected to entertain inquiries from all over Europe.
Who Could Sign Yann Bisseck?
German outlet Frankfurter Neue Presse are reporting that Eintracht Frankfurt are considering a winter bid for Yann Bisseck. It’s understood Inter will allow the former Koln star to leave for €35m.
Frankfurt aren’t likely to be able to spend that figure on one player. Therefore, a loan offer with an option or obligation to buy in the summer is more feasible.
Another potential suitor comes in the form of Crystal Palace. The English Premier League high-flyers have monitored Bisseck for most of the year. He would likely be a direct replacement for Marc Guehi.
Fellow top-flight rivals Bournemouth could also table a bid. Especially with Milan pursuing Marcos Senesi. The Cherries defender has earned rave reviews and could quit in the winter.
In the following months, Bisseck is set to be pursued by a number of clubs. His main aim is to nail down a regular starting spot to enhance his World Cup chances.
Yann Bisseck Inter Milan Stats
Since joining Inter at the start of the 2023-24 campaign, the German defender has gone on to make 69 appearances in all competitions for the Nerazzurri.
Only two of those have come this season and he has only featured on one occasion in Serie A. Nonetheless, Bisseck did help Inter to the Scudetto in his debut campaign
He also helped what was Simone Inzaghi’s side to the 2023 Supercoppa Italiana as well as the 2024-25 UCL final. In terms of goal contributions, Bisseck has eight to his name. He also has nine Serie A clean sheets.
