OFFICIAL: Giacomo Raspadori joins Napoli

Napoli have officially confirmed the signing of Sassuolo forward Giacomo Raspadori on a season long loan. The youngster has completed his club medical and is already in the squad to face Monza later today.

The loan deal will cost Napoli €5m but it includes an obligation to buy for a further €25m, along with up to another €5m in various performance-related bonuses, tied to goals, assists and the team’s Champions League qualification.

The 22-year-old became a regular in the Sassuolo starting XI last season, scoring 10 goals in 37 appearances, earning him frequent call-ups to the national side.
