Barcelona defender Samuel Umtiti is very close to agreeing a move to newly-promoted Serie A side Lecce. The former French international is no longer part of the clubs plans and is one of a number of players that is being allowed to leave the club this summer.
Sky Sport Italia report that talks are at an advanced stage between the two clubs and that the Giallorossi are ‘close’ to agreeing a move.
Umtiti has a contract with Barca until 2026 and is expected to arrive at Lecce on loan initially with no talk yet of an option to sign.
