Como will be hoping to make it four games without defeat on September 27th, as Cesc Fabregas welcomes Cremonese to Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia and you can find our full preview, prediction, possible lineups and betting tips below.

Como vs Cremonese Preview

Cesc Fabregas’ side go into their next Serie A clash full of confidence after a Coppa Italia triumph last time out, as Como cruised past Sassuolo with a 3-0 victory.

Jesus Rodriguez scored his first and second goal for the club, while Anastasios Douvikas also found the back of the net meaning Como will now face Fiorentina in the Ro16.

Attention has swiftly turned back onto the league as Como look to build on their most recent Serie A victory, beating Fiorentina 2-1 away from home thanks to a 94th minute winner from Jayden Addai.

The 20-year-old was a part of a huge squad overhaul during the summer transfer window, as Fabregas added over 15 new players and ranking fifth for the biggest spenders in Serie A.

This new-look Como side has made a steady start to the Serie A season, picking up seven points from the opening four matches with wins over Lazio and Fiorentina.

Fabregas’ men were held to a 1-1 stalemate by Genoa after Jacobo Ramon received a red card and Como’s only defeat of the season came on August 30th to Bologna.

Suffering a defeat in Serie A is something that Cremonese have not dealt with this season, taking at least a point from each of their opening four matches (2W + 2D).

The newly-promoted side kicked of the campaign with a stunning 2-1 win over AC Milan at the San Siro, before clinching a last-minute win over Sassuolo on Matchday Two.

Things have started to settle down for Davide Nicola’s side, being held to a 0-0 stalemate by both Hellas Verona and Parma in their latest league encounters.

Como vs Cremonese Prediction

Cremonese have dominated this fixture in recent years, winning each of their five last encounters against Como and you have to back to November 2016 to find Como’s last victory.

However, Como’s squad is vastly different from the one that faced Cremonese in Serie B on multiple occasions and Fabregas will be looking to end this poor streak come September 27th.

The visitors have kept consecutive clean sheets in Serie A ahead of this match-up, but will be aware of Como’s star man, Nico Paz, as the Argentine has contributed to five goals in four Serie A appearances (2G + 3A) and Real Madrid are reportedly considering the idea of activating a buy-back option.

With that said, we expect Cremonese to make this Serie A clash competitive, but Como should have enough quality to pick up all three points.

Prediction: Como 2-1 Cremonese

Como vs Cremonese Possible Lineups

Como: Butez; Smolcic, Carlos, Kempf, Valle; Perrone, Roberto; Vojvoda, Paz, Rodriguez; Morata

Como vs Cremonese Betting Tips

Alberto Grassi To Be Booked: +250

The 30-year-old has worked his way back into the Cremonese midfield after dropping to the bench during Matchday Two and Three, playing 75 minutes in the last league clash.

Grassi joined the Cremonese during the summer transfer window, after an impressive spell with Empoli and has already picked up two yellow cards in Serie A.

Last season, the midfielder accumulated eight yellow cards in the league and we expect the former Cagliari player to face a caution on September 27th.
