Genoa Target Millwall Star Tristan Crama To Replace Brooke Norton-Cuffy

Tristan Crama has emerged as a transfer target for Genoa who are looking to replace Brooke Norton-Cuffy, sources told FootItalia.  

Crama has earned rave reviews at EFL side Millwall this season and Daniele De Rossi is weighing up a bid. The Grifone head coach is seeking new defenders and views the 6ft 4in star as the perfect candidate.

De Rossi’s charges are battling relegation and believe Crama can help boost their survival chances. The Frenchman has featured in every game for the Lions this season and is tipped to reach the top.

Tristan Crama Transfer News Reveals Genoa Interest

Although Nils Zatterstrom’s Genoa transfer is edging closer to completion, the Serie A side will continue to focus their attention on up-and-coming stars from England’s second tier.

The Swedish center-back – who is contracted to Sheffield United – is set to move to the Stadio Luigi Ferraris in the next 24-48 hours. That would be Daniele De Rossi’s second Grifone signing this window after Justin Bijlow.

However, the 2006 FIFA World Cup winner is prioritizing a move for Tristan Crama. The Frenchman can operate as a center-halve of right-back so his versatility across the back is a big plus from De Rossi’s perspective.

Crama is currently valued at just €1.5million via TransferMarkt. A relatively modest figure which provides hope that De Rossi can lure Crama to Liguria this month.

Naturally, Millwall will fight hard to keep their star man in south London. His contract expires in 2028 which gives the English Premier League-chasers the upper hand when it comes to negotiations.
