Genoa Target Millwall Star Tristan Crama To Replace Brooke Norton-Cuffy
The 24-year-old could be on his way to Serie A.
Tristan Crama has emerged as a transfer target for Genoa who are looking to replace Brooke Norton-Cuffy, sources told FootItalia.
Crama has earned rave reviews at EFL side Millwall this season and Daniele De Rossi is weighing up a bid. The Grifone head coach is seeking new defenders and views the 6ft 4in star as the perfect candidate.
De Rossi’s charges are battling relegation and believe Crama can help boost their survival chances. The Frenchman has featured in every game for the Lions this season and is tipped to reach the top.
Crama was named in WhoScored’s Championship Team of the Year for 2025 and is already generating a number of keen admirers from across the continent.

Tristan Crama Transfer News Reveals Genoa Interest
Although Nils Zatterstrom’s Genoa transfer is edging closer to completion, the Serie A side will continue to focus their attention on up-and-coming stars from England’s second tier.
The Swedish center-back – who is contracted to Sheffield United – is set to move to the Stadio Luigi Ferraris in the next 24-48 hours. That would be Daniele De Rossi’s second Grifone signing this window after Justin Bijlow.
However, the 2006 FIFA World Cup winner is prioritizing a move for Tristan Crama. The Frenchman can operate as a center-halve of right-back so his versatility across the back is a big plus from De Rossi’s perspective.
Crama is currently valued at just €1.5million via TransferMarkt. A relatively modest figure which provides hope that De Rossi can lure Crama to Liguria this month.
Naturally, Millwall will fight hard to keep their star man in south London. His contract expires in 2028 which gives the English Premier League-chasers the upper hand when it comes to negotiations.
Tristan Crama Style Of Play
Not only does Tristan Crama hit all the metrics expected of a modern-day defender, his style of play has earned plenty of praise from his peers and pundits alike.
His buccaneering displays have certainly not gone unnoticed. And Genoa supporters will be hoping the Daniele De Rossi effect can help tempt the 24-year-old star to the Luigi Ferraris.
Crama’s athleticism, leadership qualities, stamina, varied range of passing and technical ability have helped in his meteoric rise this season.
Not only that, the former Brentford man is renowned for his towering presence. Crama rarely loses an aerial duel – or ground duel – and remains cool and composed under pressure.
Furthermore, Crama offers an attacking threat when operating out wide. He gets up and down the pitch with minimal ease and can naturally adapt to help the offensive players. Something of which De Rossi craves.
Will Brooke Norton-Cuffy Quit Genoa?
Even though Brooke Norton-Cuffy’s injury diagnoses doesn’t indicate any serious damage, the chances of him leaving Genoa this month have been accelerated.
The former Arsenal star has a growing list of admirers. They include the likes of Everton, Newcastle and West Ham. Closer to home, Juventus and Napoli are also keen.
With that in mind, Norton-Cuffy’s likely exit will create a place for Tristan Crama on the right-hand side. A position in which he can demonstrate his defensive and attacking attributes.
Norton-Cuffy is something of a fan favorite in Liguria but Daniele De Rossi is resigned to losing the Englishman. He is expected to fetch a transfer fee in the region of €20m which would aid in the pursuit of Crama.
With Norton-Cuffy seemingly heading for the exit door, the Grifone faithful could very well be saluting a new hero in the coming weeks. However, De Rossi needs to move quick with interest in Crama set to intensify.
