The latest Atalanta injury news has revealed that La Dea could be without Charles De Ketelaere and Giorgio Scalvini for this weekend’s clash against Torino.
Wednesday’s heavy Champions League defeat to PSG saw the duo come off in the 46th and 75th minute. Now, reports indicate they are likely to miss out on Sunday’s trip to Turin.
The news is a huge blow to Ivan Juric’s preparations as his side endured a miserable night in the French capital. Goals from Marquinhos, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Nuno Mendes and Goncalo Ramos gave the champions a comfortable 4-0 win.

Atalanta Injury News
After their UCL thrashing in France, Atalanta head coach Ivan Juric said the gulf in class between his side and PSG was enormous.
The Croat was given a harsh lesson by the Parisians and he now has two injury setbacks to navigate. Charles De Ketelaere was subbed at half-time with Giorgio Scalvini coming off with 75 minutes on the clock.
As it stands, both players will be evaluated in the run-up to Sunday’s Serie A clash against Torino. Sky Italia reported that the duo will both definitely be ruled out. However, that hasn’t been confirmed by the club.
Therefore, it remains to be seen whether Juric will risk De Ketelaere and Scalvini for the MD4 clash against Marco Baroni’s charges.
What Other Injuries Do Atalanta Have?
Charles De Ketelaere and Giorgio Scalvini could be joining four other Atalanta players on the treatment table. Currently, Sead Kolasinac, Ederson, Mitchel Bakker and Gianluca Scamacca are out.
The Scamacca injury occurred during September’s international break. His return date is still unclear having suffered inflammation in his knee.
Bakker is out for most of the season – if not all – after rupturing his ACL in July. Where Kolasinac and Ederson are concerned, the duo are expected back between September 30 – October 15.
Why Didn’t Ademola Lookman Play Against PSG?
Naturally, supporters would have noticed that Ademola Lookman was absent at the Parc des Princes. The wantaway star hasn’t featured for La Dea in all four fixtures in 2025-26.
Ivan Juric has decided to keep the Nigerian international away from his matchday squad so far this season. In the summer, Lookman tried to force a move away from Bergamo which ultimately failed.
A move to Inter didn’t materialize which meant Lookman stayed in Bergamo. The door isn’t fully closed on his Atalanta career. Juric hinted he could return if he commits his future to the club.
Nonetheless, that doesn’t appear likely at this stage so Juric will go into the Torino clash without him once again and potentially Charles De Ketelaere and Giorgio Scalvini.
