Eden Hazard Suggests Real Madrid Move to a Serie A Rising Star While He Backs Inter for Scudetto

Eden Hazard Serie A never became reality

From 2012 to 2018, he was one of the best attacking midfielders in the world.

Even though Leo Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo were fierce rivals, Eden Hazard still made a name for himself on the world stage.

He finished third at the 2018 World Cup with Belgium’s Golden Generation, after winning every national and continental trophy with Chelsea first and then Real Madrid.

But there was also a chance Serie A was in his future. In an interview with Gazzetta dello Sport, Hazard said no club ever made a concrete offer.

Milan childhood dream and Inter near-miss

Eden Hazard was an AC Milan fan as a kid, however Inter seemed like they were the closest to signing him when Angelomario Moratti recommended him to his dad while Hazard was still playing for Lille.

When it comes to today’s Serie A, Hazard has no doubts. But the Belgian has a pretty clear idea of which team will win the Scudetto.

For Hazard, Inter are the clear favorites to win the title, even if a lot can change at any moment. Juventus are on the rebound, and Napoli has some real talent.

Chivu can also do well in the Champions League. If you make it to two finals in three years, it’s more than a fluke.

The managers are competent, the players are strong, and the San Siro crowd makes all the difference.

Hazard backs Fabregas to Chelsea and Yildiz to Real Madrid

He also had nice things to say about his former Chelsea teammate, now Como’s coach Cesc Fàbregas.

Hazard admitted that they talked to each other last summer. He told Fabregas that he’s one of the best midfielders in history and that he’s set to become one of the best coaches too. But to do that, he’s got to join Chelsea.

Cesc loves soccer and knows everything about it. Hazard considers himself a Chelsea fan and would love to see Cesc on the Blues bench.

When asked which Serie A player he thinks is the strongest right now, he says it’s the Juventus number 10.
