Juventus Lead Marcos Senesi Race As Four Free Agent Summer Targets Identified
Juventus have their eyes on several exciting free agents for the summer.
Marcos Senesi has emerged as a leading target for Juventus as they plan ahead for the summer transfer market.
Speculation linking Juventus and Senesi goes back over 12 months, and they remain keen.
Damien Comolli is reportedly pushing early talks, aiming to get the Bournemouth defender on a free transfer in the summer.
However, Senesi is not the only player Juventus have identified for a potential summer move. Three other players are in their sights.
Marcos Senesi: Juventus at the ‘forefront’ for Bournemouth defender
Marco Senesi has been a regular for Bournemouth since his move from Feyenoord in 2022.
The 28-year-old is an experienced, left-footed defender who shines in one-on-one moments and aerial battles.
Senesi has reportedly declined contract extensions, meaning he can already agree a pre-contract with non-English clubs.
Corriere dello Sport claims Comolli is ‘particularly at the forefront’ of the race for Senesi.
The Italian newspaper adds that ‘everything seems ready to launch the final assault’ on the Argentine.
Senesi’s contract situation makes the deal simpler and cheaper, if Juventus can agree personal terms early.
In addition, he has an Italian passport, which means he would be exempt from Serie A’s strict non-EU registration quotas.
And given his prime age and experience at the highest level, he would be a bargain acquisition for the Bianconeri.
There has also been speculation linking AC Milan and Senesi in recent months.
Zeki Celik also on Juventus radar along with Xaver Schlager and Bernardo Silva
Corriere claims Juventus have also set their sights on Roma right-back Zeki Celik, whose contract is also expiring.
Further up the pitch, the Bianconeri are looking at two midfielders who are set to be out of contract in 2026.
They are Xaver Schlager of RB Leipzig and Manchester City veteran Bernardo Silva.
However, Corriere makes clear that, while Mauro Icardi is also out of contract in June, Juventus are no longer circling around him.
Juventus have been busy in the January transfer window, signing Emil Holm and Jeremie Boga.
However, just because the window has closed, it doesn’t mean that the Bianconeri should not be planning ahead to the summer.
