Nico Paz Backed To Join Real Madrid And Take On Lamine Yamal As Como Star Destroys Lazio

Como star Nico Paz has been tipped to join Real Madrid and take on Barcelona prodigy Lamine Yamal next season.
Paz has been in incredible form for Cesc Fabregas’ side this term and, on Monday, he put Lazio to the sword in Serie A.
The 21-year-old scored a superb brace as Como hammered Maurizio Sarri’s charges 3-0 on their own turf.
Como signed Paz from Real Madrid in 2024, but two years on, there’s talk of him rejoining the Bernabeu giants.
Nico Paz vs Lamine Yamal: The next big El Clasico rivalry?
FootItalia previously reported that Nico Paz and Real Madrid had agreed terms over a summer move.
Los Blancos put a buyback clause worth in the deal that took Paz to the Giuseppe Sinigaglia in 2024.
This can reportedly be triggered for just €9m this summer and, based on how Paz is doing, it would be an absolute bargain.
Paz had registered six goals and six assists from 20 Como games this season prior to Monday night’s Lazio trip.
The Argentine star subsequently added two more goals to his season’s tally as Como cemented their grip on sixth place.
The Larians opened the scoring through Martin Baturina on two minutes before Paz netted in the 24th and 49th minutes.
Paz could have even had a hat-trick, but Ivan Provedel kept out the Como man’s first-half penalty effort.
Football fans loved what they saw from Paz as they backed him not only to join Real this summer, but to become a star on Yamine Lamal’s level.

Can Inter stop Real Madrid from re-signing Nico Paz this summer?
Last term, Nico Paz was named in the Serie A Team of the Season and in The Athletic’s equivalent.
He was also voted as Serie A’s Best Under 23 player for the 2024/25 campaign.
And this term, Paz won the Serie A Rising Star of the Month for August and September 2025.
Needless to say, Paz is a superstar in the making, and it’s no surprise that speculation linking him with a return to Real is doing the rounds.
Inter also love Paz and, according to Corriere dello Sport, they are also planning to join the race for his services.
Compatriot and international teammate Lautaro Martinez is understood to be keen to get the Como star on board.
It’s shaping up to be an exciting summer for Paz, with huge transfer links doing the rounds along with the opportunity to play at the 2026 World Cup.
