Ivan Juric is reportedly keen on raiding his former side Southampton, as Atalanta set their sights on English sensation, Tyler Dibling.
Does Ivan Juric Want To Sign Tyler Dibling?
The Atalanta manager has already made one acquisition from the Saints this summer, signing Kamaldeen Sulemana for around $20 million and weakened his former side.
During his time on the south coast of England, the Croatian oversaw 16 matches as Southampton manager between December 2024-April 2025 and failed to avoid relegation from the Premier League.
His spell in Southampton was far from impressive, winning two matches (one in the Premier League) and losing 13, conceding 39 and scoring just 15.
Despite this lack of success, Juric managed to land a top-level job with relative ease and took over Gian Piero Gasperini’s post in Bergamo as the Italian decided to take control of Roma.
As previously mentioned, Juric has already made his first addition in Sulemana and Atalanta are also set to battle Napoli for Edon Zhegrova this summer.
Another name that could be on Atalanta’s shortlist is Southampton teenager and English wonderkid, Tyler Dibling, who caught the eye during the 2024/25 season.
At 19-years-old, Dibling was undoubtedly the Saints’ brightest spark last season and made an impressive 33 appearances in the Premier League last season.
Many expect the youngster to move on this summer as his quality may be wasted in England’s second-tier and Juric is reportedly a huge admirer of his former star.
The Saints set an asking price at around $90m in the opening stages of the summer, but this fee is said to have lowered as the transfer window continues.
Which Clubs Are Interested In Tyler Dibling?
Atalanta are not the only side that are said to be monitoring Dibling’s situation at Southampton, as the Brit has attracted interest from a host of Premier League sides.
Tottenham, Arsenal and Manchester United have all been linked with the 19-year-old and the former are said to be favorites to sign Dibling on the best betting apps.
Thomas Frank will be looking to make an instant impact as Tottenham manager and adding a player with Dibling’s potential could win fans over instantly as some are still frustrated by Ange Postecoglou’s departure.
As for Arsenal, the priority this summer is adding a striker to their roster and a left-sided forward, which are two categories that Dibling does not fall into.
The Southampton star has been utilized on the right-hand side for the majority of his senior career and would struggled to push Bukayo Saka out of the side.
Manchester United appear to have all of their focus on Brentford winger, Bryan Mbeumo, as the Red Devils prepare a third bid following two unsuccessful attempts to land the Cameroonian.
Dibling has two-years remaining on his current deal with Southampton and Juric may have an inside scoop on how much the club would be willing to accept – as the fee would be cheaper if he moves away from England.
