💥 Antonio Conte And Lautaro Martinez’s Explosive Exchange
Last week, Antonio Conte’s rift with Noa Lang further darkened Napoli’s 6-2 mauling against PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League. However, that was nothing compared to what happened on Saturday.
Just after the hour mark in Naples, Conte and Martinez traded insults that were certainly not for the faint-hearted. The gestures and war of words – were quite literally below the belt – as player and coach ripped into each other.
Martinez traded the first blow. Suggesting his old boss was feeling some bowel-related anxiety. The Inter Milan star then made some gestures towards himself that nobody wanted to see.
Of course, Conte wasn’t going to lay in the trenches taking grenades. The Gli Azzurri boss suggested to Martinez he perform said act on himself and told him to score with an expletive or two thrown in for good measure. It was all rather OTT and further highlights just how spicy Serie A can get.

🇮🇹 Juventus’ Poor Serie A Results Continue
The next Juventus manager talk heightened once again on Sunday as Igor Tudor failed to beat Lazio. In fact, it’s now five games in Serie A since the Croat last tasted a win.
Furthermore, it is eight in all competitions with the Bianconeri yet to taste victory in any of their opening three Champions League matches.
Some reports suggest Tudor has been given a handful more matches to save his bacon. However, the lackluster 1-0 defeat to Lazio may change the thinking behind that.
In terms of the league standings, the Old Lady are in eighth position and six points from the summit. In theory, that isn’t a total lost cause but performances have been poor and a solution must come to fruition. Quickly.

As far as Serie A transfers went this summer, newly-promoted Cremonese only spent more than Pisa and Genoa. However, they pulled off a real coup in signing Jamie Vardy.

🏆 Serie A News Suggest AC Milan Could Choke In Title Race
The weekend’s papers weren’t too kind on AC Milan after they entertained a 2-2 draw at home to Pisa. The result was somewhat damaging to their title credentials.
However, a last-gasp equalizer – and first Rossoneri goal from Zachary Athekame – demonstrated that Max Allegri’s side will fight till the very end.
Rafael Leao gave Milan the lead early on before veteran winger Juan Cuadrado replied from the spot on the hour mark. A repeat of the shock Cremonese defeat looked nailed on as M’Bala Nzola gave the visitors the lead with just four minutes left to play.
Nonetheless, Athekame’s strike ensured a share of the spoils on Friday. The tabloids certainly had their views, but Allegri’s side is still unbeaten since matchday 1.
