Nicola Zalewski On West Ham’s Radar As Atalanta Brace For Late Bid
The former Inter Milan and Roma star is wanted by the EPL strugglers.

According to the latest Nicola Zalewski transfer news, West Ham United have made an inquiry for the Atalanta midfielder.
The English Premier League strugglers are keen to get Zalewski on board before the window shuts on February 2. However, La Dea is likely to rebuff the Hammers approach.
Head coach Raffaele Palladino views the Polish international as a key member of his squad and will not want to lose the 24-year-old mid-season.

Nicola Zalewski Transfer News Reveals West Ham Interest
Having joined Atalanta in August, it would take West Ham a very sizable bid to advance in their pursuit of Nicola Zalewski. Even more so as he cost €17million and still has three-and-a-half years on his current deal.
Zalewski is understood to be very happy in Bergamo and has excelled this season. Which in turn, makes the Hammers quest more tricky.
The east Londoners have already signed Taty Castellanos from Lazio this month and their lust for Serie A players shows no signs of slowing. But Nuno Espirito Santo may need to consider alternatives.
Inter Milan target Moussa Diaby is an option but Al-Ittihad will want approximately €50m to part with the French winger.
From La Dea’s point of view, they will be more than happy to see the English side explore other options as Zalewski has a big role to play in Bergamo.
Atalanta’s January Transfer Targets
With Nicola Zalewski expected to stay at the New Balance Arena this winter, Atalanta is trying to navigate a number of deals themselves before Monday’s deadline.
La Dea signed Giacomo Raspadori earlier in the window but Raffaele Palladino wants a couple more new faces through the door. Especially as Daniel Maldini and Marco Brescianini have found new employment.
One name that has been mentioned is AC Milan midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek. The Englishman has been linked with a number of clubs this window but still remains at the San Siro.
Elsewhere, Atalanta’s interest in Williot Swedberg is still considerable but the Celta Vigo man may be prioritized in the summer window.
Hakim Sahabo is also an option. So is Raphael Kofler and Tottenham winger Richarlison. The latter has been hit-and-miss for the Lilywhites and they would consider cashing-in.
Whether Palladino can purchase a player or two remains to be seen. The ex-Fiorentina boss has a settled squad which doesn’t require an extensive overhaul.
Nonetheless, supporters would like fresh arrivals to help in their quest for a top-four finish. Something of which would provide plenty of funds for a summer splurge if achieved.
