Serie A Duo Make Move For Inter Loanee Kristjan Asllani Amid Uncertain Torino Future

Inter loanee Kristjan Asllani could leave Torino in January and link up with either Parma or Sassuolo, according to Alfredo Pedulla.
The Nerazzurri midfielder joined Torino on loan from Inter in the summer, and he has featured regularly for the Granata.
However, Torino have apparently been left underwhelmed by Asllani’s performances and are looking to let him go.
Should the Albania international end up leaving Santa Rita, then Parma and Sassuolo will be in the mix to snap him up.

Pedulla has claimed on his website that the feeling is ‘there is no longer any room for improvement’ for Asllani at Torino.
Inter ‘know this’, and they don’t want to run the risk of the 23-year-old spending the second half of the season on the bench.
However, there have been ‘fruitful contacts’ with Parma and Sassuolo over Asllani, added the transfer insider.

Both clubs like Asllani’s characteristics and, as such, have decided to make their move for the 38-cap lynchpin.
Furthermore, both Parma and Sassuolo have excellent relationships with Inter, confirmed by recent deals.
Inter signed Ange-Yoan Bonny from Parma in July last year for a reported fee of €23m plus bonuses.
Meanwhile, the Nerazzurri completed the signing of Davide Frattesi from Sassuolo in July 2023.
The deal was a verbal agreement for a fee of €25m plus the inclusion of young striker Samuele Mulattieri.
What Inter want to do with Asllani
Earlier in January, Matteo Moretto reported that Inter will immediately put Asllani back on the market.
They will not allow him to return to base to be available to Cristian Chivu, because the team is already booked.
Indeed, if Frattesi’s Inter future is uncertain, then Asllani has even less of a chance to break into the Nerazzurri XI.
There is talk of an Inter squad ‘revolution’ over the coming months, with numerous players likely to be offloaded.
Therefore, Inter will try to find a new destination for Asllani, likely again on loan.
Lucky for the Nerazzurri, it looks as though they have two solid options to choose from.
Parma currently sit 15th in the Serie A table, just six points above the bottom three.
Therefore, they will be eager to bring in a proven player who can do enough to pull them into mid-table.
Meanwhile, Sassuolo are 10th in the standings, seven points away from the Europa Conference League berth.
Their form has wavered in recent weeks, so they will be keen for a regista in Asllani’s mould to pull the strings and get them back up into European contention.
