Giovanni Fabbian Joins Fiorentina A Day After Bologna Vs Celtic Rallying Cry
Giovanni Fabbian has swapped Bologna for Fiorentina just before the Rossoblu face Celtic in the Europa League.

Fiorentina have announced the signing of Giovanni Fabbian, just one day before Bologna face Celtic in the Europa League.
The Viola confirmed on their website that they had signed Fabbian on a loan deal with option to buy.
In addition, Fiorentina would be obliged to buy the 23-year-old attacking midfielder ‘under certain conditions’, reportedly if they stay up.
Fiorentina have been busy in the January transfer window, also signing Manor Solomon, Marco Brescianini and Jack Harrison.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Giovanni Fabbian has left Fiorentina with Simon Sohm bound for Bologna.
Fellow Italian transfer expert Nicolo Schira said Sohm would be undergoing his Bologna medical on Wednesday.

While Sohm is set to replace Fabbian at Bologna, there will be disappointment among Rossoblu fans that he has left before the Celtic game.
Victory against the Scottish giants could put Bologna into the Europa League’s automatic qualification spots, making it a crucial clash.
Indeed, Fabbian issued a rallying cry to his teammates ahead of the match, while outlining his commitment to Bologna.
“We had the wrong approach for the game against Fiorentina,” he said, as quoted by Herald Scotland.
“Prepared well for it, but failed to replicate what we did in training… we can’t disappear on the pitch like that.
“We have to work hard and improve on what we were able to do until recently and are now failing. We’re all united to get it right.
“In football, there are periods when things go well and other times when they don’t. The important thing is to stick together.
“We did at least get a reaction in the second half and we need to carry that forward to our next game against Celtic.
“Right now, my focus is 100 per cent here in Bologna. I’m a professional and I’ll try to give my all for this shirt.”
Giovanni Fabbian gives first interview to Fiorentina
Giovanni Fabbian spoke to the Fiorentina media team after his switch from Bologna.
“I’m very happy,” he said. “A new adventure begins for me, and I’ll try to make myself available to the team and the coach straight away and give my all.
“Being here after scoring Sunday against Fiorentina? It’s a bit of a shock, but my mind is here and I want to give it my all.
“I expect a lot of new emotions; I’m fired up and motivated.”
Fabbian could make his Fiorentina debut in the Serie A home game against Cagliari on Saturday, January 24.
In other Viola news, Edin Dzeko is leaving Fiorentina for German outfit Schalke.
